QA, bug squashing and COMPETITIVE balancing!
I was a Quality Assurance Intern at Blowfish studios and one of the projects I was apart of was Siegecraft Commander, a base building tower defence versus game. Part of my responsibilities for this project was assuring all the modes, levels, mechanics, UI, controls and other systems were up to the quality standards that Blowfish studios is known to have.
I was apart of the QA during a time when the final pieces of mechanics and UI were just being added to the project. My main job was to find any bugs that were causing issues and to find any balancing issues that stayed around. I was also involved in QA for the UI of the game and finding any lingering issues involved with it.
My time at blowfish was valuable in seeing how a bigger company operates while more than one project is happening.
